It takes darkness to realize light.
It takes death to appreciate Life.
A broken heart reminds us that we can feel.
Solitude reminds us that we need each other.
Why is it that the world has become so afraid of Love?
What do we have to lose, other than being in solitude, right back where we started, having been born into this world alone?
The real risk is opening up to the possibilities.
To happiness. To strength.
Why do we prefer to be miserable?
There is much Light that shines in this world. It's religious.
It's scientific, kinetic and electric.
It is undeniable, necessary, and wonderful.
It's unattainable, omnipresent, significant and understated,
powerful and nourishing.
It is what it's not. And it's never what it is.
We are pawns in a paradox.
Our only hope is to come together.
Our only challenge is the energy between us.
Despite ourselves, let's Love one another.
The Earth is Alive. She hears us cry.
She feels our hatred,
And our innate loneliness.
She yearns for Love.
She needs repair,
like a weathered and neglected house plant.
She needs our attention.
Open the chalice and drink the wine,
Let go of the Kool Aid. Walk away.
Be drunk in Love.
Open your Heart.
Open your Mind.
Be One.
Wake up.
There is Beauty
in the Bittersweet Irony of Life.
